Vice President: Alice Stevenson (Professor, University College London) will serve as the Alliance Vice President for the 2024-2026 term and has also been appointed Deputy Secretary-General.
Secretariat: The Secretariat serves as the executive body of the International Alliance for Teaching Museology in University (IATMU). It is composed of 5 to 8 representatives from member institutions. The Secretary-General is Mao Ruohan (Researcher under the Hundred Talents Program at the School of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University), and the Deputy Secretary-General is Alice Stevenson (Professor, University College London). The Secretariat is responsible for evaluating and implementing the Alliance's activity plans, managing member information, and protecting and enhancing the organization's identity and standing. Its specific duties include formulating and executing the annual work plan, maintaining daily communication with member institutions, and handling documentation, financial matters, and archival work for the Alliance. The Secretariat shall ensure the effective implementation and practical execution of the IATMU's initiatives. The office of the Secretariat is located at the School of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University (148 Tianmushan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province).
Council: The Council acts as the professional and intellectual advisory body of the IATMU, providing expert guidance and forward-looking direction for the Alliance's decision-making, development, and planning. The Chair and Vice-Chair of the Council shall be elected and serve three-year terms. Council members consist of representatives appointed by each member institution. The Council offers recommendations to the Executive Committee and the General Assembly on matters concerning the IATMU's policies, plans, and procedures, and proposes amendments to the Alliance's charter. Additionally, the Advisory Committee provides opinions on activities and issues of significant interest to the IATMU, as raised by the Executive Committee.
