“埃及考古学精选”哈佛大学暑期线上项目
一、 项目简介
哈佛大学——波士顿美术馆（Museum of Fine Arts, Boston）联合考古队1902年—1947年在埃及开展了大量考古工作，项目负责人为现代考古学重要奠基人之一George Andrew Reisner教授。2000年，在梅隆基金会（Andrew W. Mellon Foundation）的支持下，波士顿美术馆启动了第一期吉萨项目，项目负责人为当时在波士顿美术馆任职的Peter Der Manuelian教授。第一期吉萨项目耗时十年，完成了吉萨考古资料的数字化与网络共享平台，项目涵盖了近十万条照片、图纸、日记、图书资料。2010年，Peter Der Manuelian教授进入哈佛大学任职，并继续在哈佛大学推进数字吉萨考古项目。
哈佛大学的埃及学在Peter Der Manuelian教授的主持下开始复兴，并陆续培养了一群优秀的研究生。本次埃及考古学精选由Peter和他的学生们联手带来，为埃及考古学在中国的普及推广注入新鲜血液。
二、 课程设置
本课程分为15次进行授课，每次课程4小时，时间分别为每周一、三、五的上午和晚上，通过Zoom连续上课。
